Patna,(BiharTimes): Claiming that it was the NDA which got the mandate to rule Bihar in 2010 Assembly election senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi on Friday reiterated that Jitan Ram Manjhi was made chief minister by Nitish Kumar to divert public anger against him.

Talking to the media the former deputy CM said that Manjhi was the choice of Nitish and he himself had not got the mandate to rule Bihar.

In fact people in 2010 Assembly election reposed faith on both the BJP and JD(U), but Nitish himself broke the alliance and later made Manjhi the chief minister. According to the BJP leader Nitish should have sought fresh mandate after the split in the NDA in June 2013.
