Manjhi appears at Nitish’s Sampark Yatra in Jehanabad
Patna,(BiharTimes): Bihar chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, on Tuesday sent down another googly to Nitish Kumar. But the latter played it safe. After a long time both the leaders shared dais as the chief
minister sudden appeared at his Sampark Yatra in Jehanabad on Tuesday.
The chief minister was present in the capacity of the MLA of Makhdoompur in the district. He showered all praise on Nitish in his nine minutes short speech and saw himself in the role of Lakshman to his mentor as Ram.
Nitish too chose the occasion to give him a piece of advice. After congratulating him for the report card he stressed on the inclusive growth of all sections of people and all the regions of the state. Thus, in a way, he asked him to avoid being selective.
Manjhi’s move came as a surprise as the media was still in dark till Tuesday morning about it. It was speculated that he may join the Sampark Yatra in Gaya on Wednesday where he is scheduled to reach in the afternoon. But the problem was that Nitish’s Yatra in Gaya will conclude in the forenoon, much
before CM’s visit.
He put to an end all the suspense by appearing in Jehanabad itself. The Janata Dal (United) rank and file were virtually stumped by his action.
