Patna,(BiharTimes): Chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi on
Thursday night questioned the decision of the Janata Dal
(United) chief Sharad Yadav to call the meeting of the
party’s Legislative Party on Feburay 7.
Ministers of the Manjhi camp, such as, Narendra Singh, Bhim Singh, Brishen Patel, Nitish Mishra, Shahid Ali Khan, Samrat Chaudhary, Binay Bihari, Mahachandra Prasad Singh etc were seen at the CM’s residence. PHED minister Mahachandra Prasad Singh, told the media outside the CM’s residence that calling the Legislative Party meeting is the prerogative of the chief minister and not of the party president. Noted rebel leader Gyanendra Singh Gyanu, along with his supporters, were also present there. Senior party leader Shakuni Chaudhary, father of Samrat, said that Manjhi is fire, and whosoever touches him would get burnt. As reported the national JD(U) president called the meeting
of JD(U)LP at 4:00 PM on February 7.
Earlier in the day, while speaking at a function in Jehanbad
Manjhi said that he is working under pressure from certain
quarters.
