Patna,(BiharTimes): Two parallel meetings of the Janata Dal (United) are to take place on Friday––both in the vicinity of each other.The Nitish camp has called a meeting of its core group at 12:30 PM at the residence of Nitish Kumar, while the other one at 1, Anne Marg residence of the chief minister at 5:00 PM.

Though a majority of MLAs are with the Nitish camp, the Manjhi camp is confident of getting support of a sizeable number of legislators. The BJP has given enough hint to support the Manjhi government, but the problem is whether anti-Defection Law would apply or not. At present Manjhi does not have the support of two-thirds of the MLAs of ruling JD(U), which is essential for causing split in the Legislative Party.
