Kirti Azad accuses BJP of neglecting 73 lakh people of Poorvanchal in Delhi
Patna,(BiharTimes): The Bharatiya Janata Party MP from Darbhanga, Kirti Azad, on Tuesday came down heavily on his own party leadership for neglecting 73 lakh people of Poorvanchal origin, who are living in Delhi.
People of east Uttar Pradesh and Bihar origin are known as Poorvanchali in Delhi.Azad held the party leadership resonspible for the defeat in Delhi.His statement is significant as he is MP from Bihar, who had lived in Delhi for a long time and even represented it in Ranji Trophy cricket before playing for the national team. His father late Bhagwat Jha Azad was a Union minister before moving to Bihar to become chief minister in 1988. Both his father and Kirti Azad later crossed over to the BJP. The latter went on to become party’s MP from Bihar.
