Patna,(BiharTimes): In the eyes of the most Janata Dal (United) MLAs belonging to the Scheduled Castes chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi has not only back-stabbed the man who reposed full faith on him, but also let down the Mahadalits of the state.The most critical of all the comments was made by Arun Manjhi, who till three weeks back, was one of the staunchest supporters of Jitan Ram Manjhi. He said the CM is a black spot on the name of Mahadalits and the community would never forgive him for his acts.

The chairman of Bihar State Scheduled Caste Commission Vidyanand Vikal, accused Jitan Ram Manjhi of fooling Mahadalits by playing into the hands of BJP.Former minister Shyam Rajak, attacked Manjhi for ditching Nitish and exploiting Mahadalits. He also accused Manjhi of helping those people who were always against the Mahadalits.

He too raised his objection over naming Darbhanga Engineering College as Dr Jagannath Mishra Institute of Technology.These Mahadalit leaders addressed a joint Press conference in Patna on Monday to show the solidarity of the community towards Nitish Kumar.Manish Kumar also blasted Manjhi for betraying Nitish who trusted him a lot.Ironically, there is no Mahadalit legislator who is openly siding with Manjhi. Even his ‘samdhin’, Jyoti, an MLA from Barachaati, appears undecided. All these Mahadalit MLAs were unanimous on one point: that Manjhi has been made a sacrificial lamb by the BJP. But, they added, the saffron party would not succeed.
