Patna,(BiharTimes): Chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi returned to Patna a disheartened man. He could not get time to meet prime minister Narendra Modi and, according to media reports from the national capital, was not invited to attend the reception of the son of the BJP president Amit Shah.

When he left for Delhi on Sunday it was said that he would be attending the marriage reception of the son of Amit Shah.On that day he met governor, Keshri Nath Tripathi, and Union home minister Rajnath Singh. On Monday he was expected to get time from the PM, but that did not happen.

On Tuesday the Bihar CM returned to Patna. He cancelled all his day’s engagements, including the visit to Khagaria.Soon after his return he was closeted with the RJD MP, Pappu Yadav. Manjhi’s ministers Narendra Singh and Benay Bihari were also present on the occasion. The meeting lasted for half an hour.Former Rajya Sabha MP, Sabir Ali, whose entry into the BJP on the eve of last year Lok Sabha election was aborted, also met Manjhi.
