Manjhi won in spite of losing, Nitish lost in spite of winning: SuMo
Patna,(BiharTimes): Urging the governor to end the political deadlock in the state senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi said on Friday that Jitan Ram Manjhi had won in spite of losing (the battle) and Nitish had lost in spite of winning (the battle).
Talking to the media after the resignation of the chief minister he said that there is turmoil in the JD(U), RJD and Congress while the BJP is standing solidly united.According to him this is the first time in the history of parliamentary democracy that the inner-party tussle has reached Raj Bhawan. Anti Defection law can not be applicable as nobody is going to other party. So there is no question of ‘dal-badal’ (changing party loyalty) but a case of squabble within the JD(U).He claimed that had there been secret voting most JD(U) MLAs would have supported Manjhi. “Several MLAs rang me up to say so. They fear that they would lose their life,” he said.
Hitting out at Nitish Kumar the former deputy CM said that if one person who got exposed in this whole exercise it was none else but Nitish himself. It is he who would be becoming cheif minister for the first time after eight months.
SuMo said that Nitish had resigned four times. All the time he seeks forgivenss from the people to return to power. He resigned after the Gaisal rail accient in 1999, again in 2000, 2003 and now. The people would not forgive him.“I would like to ask whether he would one day seek forgiveness for opposing Narendra Modi? Will he seek forgivenss for betraying the overwhelming people’s mandate given to JD(U)-BJP alliance in 2010? \Will he seek forgiveness for supporing RJD and Jungle Raj? Or will he seek forgivenss for joining hands with the Congress notwithstanding doing anti-Congress politics throughout his political life? If he seeks forgiveness for these four mistakes only then the people of the state may forgive him,” Sushil Modi said.
SuMo said Nitish is unnecessarily blaming Narendra Modi for writing the script of this whole drama, when the fact is that it is he who wrote it. Has the BJP made Manjhi the CM? Before going to Delhi the talks between Manjhi and Nitish, Lalu and Sharad failed. Was the BJP responsible for it?The leader of opposition in the Council accused Nitish of misusing the office of the Speaker. There is no match to
Nitish’s machination and manipulation.SuMo made it clear that the BJP is not staking claim and requested the governor to end the political stalemate by inviting the other group of Janata Dal (United) to form the government.
Speaking on the occasion Nand Kishore said that Kauravs have committed a murder. The anti-Dalit face of JD(U), RJD and Congress have got exposed. He said one person who is responsible for the whole chaos and confusion in Bihar today is none else but Nitish Kumar. He said that his party was not in favour of imposing President’s rule, but is sure that people’s verdict would be in favour of the BJP.
