Patna,(BiharTimes): Two days after the former deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi strongly criticized both Jitan Ram Manjhi and Janata Dal (United) leader Nitish Kumar former Union minister and senior BJP leader Dr C P Thakur on Saturday said something quite different.

He not only welcomed the chief minister to his party, but said that his party would restore respectability not only to him, but to the entire Mahadalit community.Dr Thakur once again said that Manjhi is not being treated well in his own party.He said in fact a case should be lodged under Dalit atrocities act as Manjhi has to face all these humiliation because he comes from that section of the society. However, he did not name the person against whom the case should be filed.

The BJP leader said that his party always supports the cause of those who are mistreated, exploited and humiliated and thus would do so once again.
