Patna,(BiharTimes): RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav said on Thursday that nobody is in a hurry for merger of the parties of Janata Parivar. Talking to journalists at the ‘dahi-chura’ party organized for minorities he said that the mediapersons appear to be in more hurry than he himself for the merger of these parties. “Had bad ka kaam gadbad hojata hai” (Haste makes waste), he said adding that there is no hurdle whatsoever in the path of merger. He reiterated that Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav has been authorized to take the final decision in this regard. He said that his daughter’s marriage is to be held in February hinting clearly that the merger would take place only after it and at the national level and not just at the Bihar level. Lalu, who along with Raghuvansh Prasad Singh, called on ailing Nitish Kumar on Wednesday evening, held the centrestage on both days of makarsankranti. Political observers are of the view that it was Lalu who was calling the shot on this occasion, especially after the absence of Nitish Kumar from the scene.
