Patna,(BiharTimes): The state government on Thursday shifted 22 IPS officers, including superintendent of police of some districts and two IGs.Senior SP of Gaya, Nishant Kumar Tiwari, has been transferred and appointed as BMP-1 Commandant (Patna). He has been replaced by P Kannan, who was posted as AIG (Q).
The SPs of Samastipur, Aurangabad, Sitamarhi, Sheikhpura, Arwal, Vaishali, Madhepura and Khagaria districts apart from city SP, Bhagalpur and Bagaha police district SP have been shifted.ATS IG Kundan Krishnan, who was holding the additional charge of IG (Security, Special Branch), has been appointed new IG (Headquarters). He will be holding the additional charge of both ATS IG and IG (Security, Special Branch).
Krishnan replaces A S Nilekar who has been transferred and appointed IG (State Vigilance Investigation Bureau) with additional charge of IG (Technical Services and Communication, Bihar).AIG (W) Daljeet Singh has replaced Kannan as the new AIG (Q). The new AIG (W) is Navin Chandra Jha, who was serving as the Sheikhpura SP.
Vigilance Investigation Bureau SP Dhiraj Kumar has been made the new Sheikhpura SP.Aurangabad SP Upendra Kumar Sharma has been transferred as SP (ATS). He has been replaced by 2009-batch officer Babu Ram, who was posted as Samastipur SP. The new Samastipur SP is Suresh Prasad Chaudhary. Chaudhary was Vaishali SP but was transferred to Special Branch as SP (A) on December 30. The December notification stands cancelled.
Arwal SP Chandrika Prasad has been appointed as the new Vaishali SP. Manavjit Singh Dhillon will replace Prasad as the Arwal SP. Dhillon was currently the Economic Offences Unit (EOU) SP. The new EOU SP is Shankar Jha who earlier held the post of BMP-3 Commandant (Bodh Gaya). Jha has been replaced by S Premlatha, who was serving in the capacity of Home Guard Commandant (Patna).
Mohammad Shafiul Haq who was earlier the Principal of Constable Training School (CTS), Nathnagar, (Bhagalpur) with the additional charge of Simultalla school principal is the new Bagaha police district SP.
He replaces Hari Prasath S, who has been appointed as the new Sitamarhi SP. Bhagalpur city SP Aditya Kumar is the new Principal of Constable Training School (CTS), Nathnagar.Sitamarhi SP Nawal Kishore Singh has been transferred to Crime Investigation Department (CID) as SP (OSD). Khagaria SP Kim has also been transferred to CID as SP (Weaker Sections and Women’s Cell). Mahila battalion Commandant (Sasaram) Dhurat Saayli Savlaram has been made the new Khagaria SP. AIG (Rail) Natasha Gudia has been appointed as BMP-5 Commandant.Madhepura SP Anand Kumar Singh has been transferred as BMP-16 Commandant (Patna). No one has been posted as the Madhepura SP.
