29/01/2015 Lalu questions BJP’s belated love for Karpoori, to lead march to Raj Bhawan on March 15 |
Patna,(BiharTimes): Ridiculing the belated love of Bharatiya Janata Party for the former chief minister Karpoori Thakur, Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on Wednesday announced that his party workers would hold a big public meeting in Gandhi Maidan on March 15 and then would march to Raj Bhawan to ask the Narendra Modi government to deposit lakhs of rupees of black money in the account of the people as promised before the Lok Sabha election. Speaking at a function organized at the party’s state office to observe the birth anniversary of late Karpoori Thakur Lalu asked as to how these people who opposed reservation and brought down his government (in 1979) be championing his cause now. The RJD president questioned the double speaks of the saffron party over the issue of reservation in job and education and strongly criticized it for communally vitiating the atmosphere in the country.
