Nitish should be thankful to Centre, says Ram Vilas
Patna,(BiharTimes): Union Minister for Food Ram Vilas Paswan said on Sunday that chief minister Nitish Kumar should bother about Bihar, rather than the rest of the country, as the Centre has offered a lot of bonanza to the state in the Union Budget for 2015-16.
Talking to the media here he sought apology from Nitish for his criticism of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the state has got another AIIMS, special package on the lines of Andhra Pradesh and other sops. Instead of being thankful to the prime minister the Bihar chief minister is always critical of him.
Ram Vilas claimed that while the UPA government had ignored Bihar’s justified demand for the special package the NDA has been generous to the state.Incidentally, Ram Vilas was a minister in the UPA-I and a very bitter critic of Narendra Modi till a year ago and Nitish was with the BJP till June 2013.
Though Nitish has welcomed the announcement of another AIIMS for Bihar he reiterated that the recommendation of 14th Finance Commission would hit Bihar badly and it would suffer an annual loss of Rs 15,000 crore. He also dubbed the Union Budget as the pro-corporate houses.
