Patna,(BiharTimes): Former Union minister and senior RJD
leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh on Monday demanded that the
former chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi be made deputy chief
minister by Nitish Kumar.
Talking to the media in the RJD office Raghuvansh said that
by apologizing to the Janata Dal (United) workers and people
of the state Nitish has indulged in partial course
correction, but it would be complete when he appoints Manjhi
as his deputy.
According to the RJD leader it was Nitish who gave Manjhi the
opportunity to rule the state and it is he who removed him
under certain circumstances. So, as a former minister in the
Nitish cabinet, Manjhi should once again be accommodated.
As Raghuvansh is considered close to the party chief Lalu
Prasad political commentators have started interpreting this
demand in several ways. Is it his own view or the one of
Lalu? This is being asked in the political circle.
