Patna,
(Bihar Times): Four persons were crushed to death and several others injured when
an uncontrolled bus rammed into a tea-stall near Mahatma Gandhi Setu in Vaishali
district on Tuesday morning. The condition of the two of injured persons are critical.
The coal-laden truck was going from the Patna side of the bridge. The
accident enraged the local people who jammed the Ganga bridge for three hours.
The driver of the truck was arrested. The jam could be lifted only after the intervention
of the local administration. The
jam not only paralyzed the traffic it also affected work in the Zonal office of
the East Central Railway as the officials could reach their duty only in the afternoon.
