Patna, (Bihar Times): The sleuths of Income Tax department carried raids on the business and residential premises of four prominent doctors and jewelers of Bhagalpur on Friday.

In all four kilo of gold, 50 kilo of silver, Rs 30 lakh hard-cash and incriminating documents were recovered from Dr D P Singh, Dr Hari Shankar Sharma, husband and wife couple of Dr Mritryunjay Kumar and Dr Vibha Chaudhary and Hari Om Lakshmi Narayan (Jeweller). The raids were going on till late night on Friday. This is the second time within a decade that the Income Tax department carried raids on the premises of Dr Hari Shankar Sharma.
