Patna: November 10: On the occasion of the 70th Birth anniversary of Dr. Mahendra Narain, Government of Bihar has named the stretch of road linking Dinkar Chowk to Rajendra Nagar over bridge as Dr. Mahendra Narain Path.

Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Sushil Kumar Modi did the honours by unveiling a plaque bearing the name on the occssion of 70th birth anniversary of the noted physician. Sanjay Kumar, Mayor of Patna was the Guest of Honour . Other eminent people who attended the function were Shri.G.Narain, Retd IPS, Shri Arun Kumar, MLA Patna Central, Dr. H.R.P.Verma, Dr A..K Thakur, Dr. S.N.Mishra, Dr. Ranjan Akhauri, Dr.B.K.Verma, Dr. V N Prasad, Mr. R.R.Verma, ADG – Police, Mr. Sunit Kumar , IG Police, Dr. S.Raza, Dr. B.K. Karak, Dr. B.N.Prasad, Mr. Ajay Narain Dr. Rajay Narain, , Mr. Amit Narain, Mr. R.K.Verma, Mr. D.K.Verma , Shri. S.K.Shah, Dr. Gopal Prasad Sinha and Dr.Brij Lall.

On this occasion, Dr. Mahendra Narain Foundation also announced its intent to launch a fully equipped Mobile Ambulance to be used for the benefit of people of Bihar. The foundation also celebrated its 2nd Anniversary and has been quite active in conducting free Medical Check up camps for the people of Bihar.
