A Patna based NGO, Girimitiya Society, is organizing 'Hamari Virasat', a six day- long cultural event in Singapore from 20th Dec. to 25 th Dec this year. The theme for this year event is 'Buddha' keeping in mind its close linkage to Bihar. This event will be organized in the Khalasa Ground with the help of local Bhojpuri group. "A large number of Business leaders, Socialites, Diplomats, Bureaucrats, Social Organizations, Artists, Media and people of Singapore will participate in the event." said Ashok Kumar, secretary of the organization.
