Patna, (BiharTimes): Mohan Ram, at present the deputy development commissioner posted at Muzaffarpur was on Wednesday sentenced to one day judicial remand by the Patna high court for the contempt of court. Mr Justice Chanramauli Kumar Prasad and Mr Justice Mihir Kumar Jha pronounced this ruling.

When Ram was the SDO of Katihar he withdrew magistrate and police force deputed on the Katihar court order to execute a judgement. The case of 2004 and was related to a property dispute. The district judge of Katihar referred the matter to the high court.
