Lalu’s son, policeman file complaints

 

Patna, (Bihar Times): A day after the son of railway minister, Lalu Yadav, and former chief minister, Rabri Devi, and a policeman had a verbal duel in the vicinity of the chief minister’s 1-A Anne Marg residence both Tej Pratap and the cop lodged complaints in the Sachivalaya police station on Tuesday.

Tej Pratap in his complaint said that the incident took place while he was returning from his school at 12:30 pm. He said that the road near his house was barricaded and his car was stopped. When he protested one of the policemen present there said: Raj badal gaya hai. Dimag Thik Rakho.” (The regime has changed. Keep your mind cool).

According to Tej other policemen on the duty intervened and pointed their service revolvers at him and called him by his name.

On the other hand Deepak Kumar, the policeman on duty, complaint that he was directed by his superior only to allow those vehicles to pass which has beacon light. His complaint said that he only directed the driver of the Esteem car to take right direction. The man sitting inside than shouted: Pahchante Nahin Ho, Suspend Karwa Denge (Do not you recognize me. I will get you suspended). He also alleged that Rabri Devi snatched his cane and hit him on his arm.

The City SP, Anwar Husain, said that the station house officer of the Sachivalaya police station, R B Yadav, had been asked to personally investigate the case and submit its report at the earliest.
