Patna, (Bihar Times): Another letter has landed the state government in an embarrassing position. The suspended sub-division officer of Bhagalpur, S K Srivastava, on January 21 night faxed a letter to the office-bearers of the Bihar Administrative Service Association directly blaming the district magistrate and superintendent of police of Bhagalpur for the police firing on Friday in which four people were killed.
The suspended SDO dropped a bomb-shell by stating that both the district magistrate and SP have made him the sacrificial lamb and charged that a police party led by the officer in charge forcibly procured a letter at the gun-point.
Srivastava’s letter gave an opportunity to the BASA to open a big front against the IAS and IPS lobby of the state. It has asked its members not to open fire or order cane-charge under any circumstances. The state government is keeping its lip tight over the issue.

Only the DM and SP are responsible for the firing. Why not CM transferring both of them as they are in Bhagalpur from last many years? As a resident of Bhagalpur I can say that they are good for nothing, both of them are never visiting to rural areas to monitor the development works, both of them are only serving to the ministers.

Chief minister should take lesson and make DM & SP responsible for any type of atrocities done on the people.
After all bread and butter of the so called intelligent DM & SP are arranged by the tax deposited by us only.
