Patna, (Bihar Times): The body of a police constable,
Ram Murti Rai, was recovered from a government
bungalow located in 4-Strand Road under Sachivalaya
police station area here on Monday.
According to the Deputy police superintendent
(Sachivalaya) Sridhar Mandal the two policemen Ram
Murti Rai and Annu Bhagat were deputed to guard the
bungalow which was seven months back vacated by a
judge of Patna high court.
Rai, according to the police version, was not keeping
well for the last three days and his colleague had
asked him to consult a doctor. However, on Monday,
foul smell started emanating from the tent in which
the constable was living. It is upon this that the
police came to know about his death.
