New Delhi, April 23: A group of four Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) legislators from Bihar, unhappy with the state cabinet reshuffle, met the party's central leaders here Wednesday.

The legislators sought a "course correction" by the party in Bihar.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar reshuffled his council of ministers April 13. The BJP is a junior partner in the coalition with Janata Dal-United (JD-U).

The MLAs - including dropped minister Chander Mohan Rai, Rameshwar Chaurasia and Amrendra Pratap Singh - met BJP president Rajnath Singh, Leader of Opposition L.K. Advani, M. Venkaiah Naidu, Sushma Swaraj and Jaswant Singh, according to party sources.

According to the sources, they told the leaders that the alliance with JD-U was not working to the BJP's advantage.

However, the BJP leaders here were not willing to comment on the meeting. "I will not say a word on this subject," Kalraj Mishra, the party's in-charge for Bihar, told IANS.

Another BJP leader admitted privately: "Some disenchanted legislators came and met all the top leaders. But that does not mean there is any rebellion brewing in Patna or that there is any widespread support for these people."
