Patna, (Bihar Times): Under the Public-Private
Partnership programme five Memorandums of
Understanding (MoUs) were signed between the state
government and industrialists on Saturday for the
upgradation of the Industrial Training Institutes.

K P S Keshri of Amrapali Foods, Vaidraj Kulkarni of
ITC, S M Jha of Kalyanpur Cement, U K Singh of Uttam
Technology and N C P Sinha of Rameshwar Jute Mills
signed the MoU as new chairmen of Institutional
Management Committee of Hajipur, Munger,
Dehri-on-Sone, Muzaffarpur and Darbhanga respectively.
Five more MoUs would be signed after March next.
According to the deputy chief minister the state
government has decided to revolutionize the ITIs and
by August 108 of them would become operational. He
said that these MoUs were signed as per the government
of India’s initiative to establish a direct link
between the industries and ITIs.
