Patna, (Bihar Times): Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Friday claimed that the UPA government’s defeat in the floor test is imminent.
According to him the stony silence being maintained by usually blustering Union ministers from Bihar is pointer to the fact. He dubbed these Union ministers as "bayan bahadurs" (paper tigers or leaders surviving on statements.)
Nitish, who after a brief overnight stay in Patna once again went to Delhi on Friday to attend the national executive of Janata Dal (United) in Delhi, said that now it is clear that the government will not survive.
The chief minister tried to deflect the people’s attention from the pathetic situation in the water-logged Patna by charging the UPA ministers, especially of those RJD, with not cooperating with the state government in execution of several development schemes.
On the Indo-US nuclear deal he said the Centre should keep in abeyance all further action till it proved its majority in the Lok Sabha.
