Patna, (Bihar Times): A day after the parliamentary board
of the party met in New Delhi to discuss the revolt in
Bihar the BJP President, Rajnath Singh and prime
ministerial candidate Lal Krishna Advani gave time to
dissident MLAs of Bihar. Now all the 55 MLAs, MPs and
MLCs have been invited to Delhi on June 8 to have
final headcount before deciding about the fate of the
deputy chief minister, Sushil Kumar Modi.
The dissidents met Rajnath Singh and Advani, but
nothing concrete could come out from the meeting.
However, the dissidents, who have set June 5 as the
deadline to take action against the deputy chief
minister, Sushil Kumar Modi, have been asked to keep
their tongues tied till June 8.
The party’s dilemma is that both Nand Kishore Yadav
and Ashwini Kumar Choubey, the two ministers, who are
leading the campaign against Modi, are not only
critical of the latter but are showing utter disregard
to the chief mnister, Nitish Kumar, too. They have
repeatedly called Modi as a puppet in the hands of
Nitish. If their diatribe against the chief minister
continues it may go a long way to harm the
relationship between the two NDA dissidents. Apart
from this the leadership does not consider Yadav and
Choubey as the leader of Modi’s stature.
